I used the same model of the Fisher Price tea set for years in my nursery school & later with my granddaughter. This is my favorite tea set and it is no longer made. It is very sturdy, large enough cups to use with real tea which I did with my granddaughter! And the teapot plays "I'm a Little Teapot" when you press the top. It also has a different print of a heart, tulip, butterfly or mum on each spoon, cup & saucer so little ones can match the correct spoon with the saucer & cup with the same print. I was happy to see this in new condition on ebay...Since I mailed it to a little girl out of state, I did not open it to check if the tea pot was still able to play music. A great find and the price was good in new condition.

My 19 year old daughter was reminiscing about this tea set she had as a child. She remembered how much she played with it. I was thrilled to find the exact set on eBay. The trill of the teapot is a sound from our past. She was blown away when she opened it on Christmas morning. It will not be joining her during her study abroad trip, but it will be here when she gets home.

I have this set in the kids room of our bookstore. This is my third set, but I only replaced it because small children have mistakenly, I'm sure, taken parts. The top to the teapot which provides the music, "I'm a Little Teapot" and goes "doodily doodily doo" when the pot it tipped, lasted for more than 12 years until some small child must have left with the top. So yes it's durable and entertaining.
