À propos de ce produit

    Product Information

Capcom's first original Street Fighter game since 1991, Street Fighter Alpha distinguishes itself with an animé-influenced visual style and younger versions of Street Fighter II's cast. Known as Street Fighter Zero in Japan, Alpha serves as a prequel to 1991's game and introduces three new playable characters: U.S.A.F. lieutenant Charlie, Italian fortune-teller Rose, and Hong Kong martial artist Dan Ribicki. The remainder of the cast includes a mix of characters featured in previous Capcom games, such as Guy from 1989's Final Fight and Birdie from 1987's Street Fighter.

The PlayStation version of the arcade game offers three play modes: "Arcade," "Versus," and "Training." Arcade involves selecting one of ten initially available characters and battling a series of seven opponents until an eventual showdown with M. Bison or another boss. Versus lets you challenge a friend to a one-on-one fight, while Training involves practicing each character's varied moves. Street Fighter Alpha's gameplay once again relies on mastering character-specific combos. Characters can also perform multiple levels of "super" moves by maxing out a meter, block in the air, initiate counter attacks, taunt, and more.

    • A True Collectors Item

This game is without a doubt, the best game, based on a movie, based on a game. The gameplay is slower then a normal Street Fighter player would be use to, but that does not take away from the gameplay at all. The game incorporates the actual actors into the game, which is a first for the street fighter dynasty, making the graphics look more like an early Mortal Kombat game. The gameplay however, is still the authentic Capcom fighting that we have grown to love. The story mode of the game, which pits you up against various characters from the movie, revealing dialogue before each fight differs from the actual storyline of the movie. You fight characters who were your allies, and you fight others who never crossed Guile's path in the movie. This setup however, leads to an interesting ...

    • street fighter movie game

it's basically the mortal kombat fighting game(gameplay, graphics) using the cast of the street fighter movie. the game itself isn't bad, but it doesn't mean that it's great either. it's playable, more comical if anything. it differentiates itself from the other games slightly. i personally think that the game for the time period it was released in isn't that bad. it can hold it's own against mortal kombat, maybe. if you like 2d fighters, i would recommend playing the real thing. this is more for die hard fans, or collectors of the genre. it's worth taking a look at, that's about it.

    • Not the best Street Fighter game ever made.......

This game is basically Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo with digitized graphics minus Dhalsim, T.Hawk, and Fei Long. Captain Sawada, a character from the movie, is in the game, though. Pros: Gameplay is surprisingly good, most special moves can be pulled off with no problem. Background music is pretty good. Cons: Graphics are terrible. It seems like each character was copied and pasted into each stage you play in. Captain Sawada is a very LAME character, his super combo involves him rasing his hands into the air and charging at you. Super Combos can be a bit tricky to pull off. Overall, I would only recommend this game to hardcore Street Fighter Fans. Others, I would advise to pass on this one.

    • Street Fighter Alpha

This game is done well. If you are a collector of the Street Fighter series, you must have this game in the traditional long box. This game features Chun-Li before she had the traditional blue dress combo as you see her today. It's hard to find in good condition, without scratches. Overall the gameplay is basic. If you like the traditional style arcade fighters, you will want this in your collection. Once it arrived, I played this for a few hours trying to get to the final stages, and it was a bit difficult. Always take care of your games. They might be worth something down the road, and this one is definately a rare one to come by.

    • Playstation has Street Fighter but does it really

In Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams for the Playstation has a great cast of 13 characters for whom to get to chose from. Their will be new moves and combinations for you to massacre your opponents with. You will also have the option to trains yourself before you desire to fight for real in the New Training Mode. You can also train yourself the Arcade and Versus Mode. In addition, you will get to enjoy the hand-drawn animation in Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams for your Playstation.
